 July 4 – Amherst Fourth of July Parade & Village Celebration

·         What: Annual Independence Day parade plus full day of activities: Village Green programming, live entertainment, classic cars, decorated floats, kids’ activities, food vendors, artisan demos, and historical exhibits, all framed as an America 250 celebration.

·         When: Parade steps off at 10:00 a.m. from Wilkins School. Activities continue throughout the day on the Village Green.

·         Where: Parade route from Wilkins School (80 Boston Post Road) through Historic Village to Town Hall and Village Green.

 Merrimack is a 2026 USA 250 showcase, with multiple coordinated town events.

July 4 – Rotary Pancake Breakfast

What: Annual morning pancake breakfast organized by Merrimack Rotary as part of the town’s Independence Day lineup.

When: Morning of July 4th - 8 to 11 am

Where: Merrimack High School Cafeteria

Cost: Ages 4 and under – free / Ages 5-12 - $10.00 / Ages 13-65 - $12.00 / Ages 66+ $10.00

July 4 – “Salute to Independence: USA 250th Celebration Parade”

What: Large Independence Day parade featuring bands, militia units, clowns, local businesses, and community organizations; branded for the USA 250 celebration.

When: 1:00 p.m. on July 4, 2026.

Where: Commons Shopping Plaza (Tractor Supply, 515 Daniel Webster Hwy) south along DW Highway, right onto Baboosic Lake Road past Mastricola School, left onto O’Gara Drive, ending in front of Merrimack High School (about 1.5 miles).

 

July 4 – Merrimack 4th of July Fireworks (USA 250)

What: Evening celebration with music, food trucks, and fireworks; part of Merrimack’s USA 250 program.

When:

Event space / parking opens: 5:00 p.m.

Music / entertainment: DJ Darren Roy and other acts in the evening (7:00–9:00 p.m. in recent schedules).

Fireworks: 9:15 p.m.

Where: Kohlsman/Kollsman Athletic Fields, 220 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack; viewing also from Merrimack High School and area fields.

What: All-day celebration culminating in fireworks at historic Holman Stadium; Spartan’s Drum & Bugle Corps performance as part of the evening entertainment.

When:

Fireworks: Around dusk; several regional guides list a 9:15 p.m. start time for Nashua’s show.

Event name: Manchester Independence Day – America 250 celebration

Time:

Arms Park program: begins around 7:30 p.m. with the 39th Army Band concert.

Fireworks over the Merrimack River: immediately following the concert after dark.

Additional fireworks: post‑game show at Delta Dental Stadium (Fisher Cats) as part of the America 250 “dual celebration.”
