“The traffic was really good,” Brassard said. “People came to the park to see some art. I think it’s been great. They come into my booth and things are a little different, a little unique and different than what they’ve seen, and the response has been nice.”
Working along three blocks of the trail between Elm and Ash streets, the artists transformed walls, building facades and roughly a dozen large panels, giving the Tree Streets neighborhood a new outdoor gallery.

For the dozen young musicians in the NCMS Teen Rock Band, it was their first performance before a live audience at a professional venue. About 220 fans and supporters filled the hall at the Western Avenue Studios complex for the event, now in its second year.
