Forty-five minutes north of Nashua in Lee, New Hampshire you will find Bedrock Gardens, a nonprofit public garden full of creative landscape design, whimsical sculpture, woodland trails and a remarkable variety of botanical specimens.
Originally this 30 acre site was an historic farm and private garden. The abandoned property was purchased in the 1980’s and the new owners transformed it into a tranquil oasis open for the public to enjoy.

You can pick up a free map and explore the gardens on your own or join in a free garden tour daily at 10:15am. Space is limited and it is on a first come first serve basis. They also have art tours several days of the week. Tours are included in your admission.
There is a 3/4-mile circulation path, connecting the “garden rooms”, with vistas along the way. Some other highlights are a Japanese Tea House and garden, a wildlife pond, ornamental grass 'painting', as well as numerous sculptures, water features and various fountains.

This is a fun outing for all ages and the gardens are somewhat accessible. The walkways and paths are mostly either lawn, hard-pack, or wood chips. They request you leave your pets at home with the exception of course for service dogs. More specific information about this and the accessibility tour they offer is found here.
Bedrock Gardens is located at 19 High Road in Lee, NH.
They are open seasonally from May 13th to October 12, 2026. Hours are 10 am-4 pm Tuesday through Friday and on the 1st and 3rd weekends of the month. Admission is $15 for adults and children 12 or under are free.
