Governor Ayotte signed several bipartisan laws to protect victims of domestic and sexual violence, combat crimes like human trafficking, and ensure timely restitution payments to victims.
“From the very beginning, Governor Ayotte understood what was at stake for the North Country and stood with us to protect Forest Lake State Park from becoming a dumping ground for out-of-state trash,” said Senator David Rochefort of Littleton.

Ayotte closed by telling the Nashua business community that the “state of the state is strong,” but said New Hampshire must continue to tackle housing, child care, energy costs, workforce and education to remain, in her words, “the best state in the nation to live, work and raise a family.”
