Paving Accident Crushes Worker In Bedford - Likely Fatal

BEDFORD, N.H. — A routine paving job turned catastrophic Monday morning when an industrial worker was run over by a heavy paving roller in the driveway of a residential home on Maiden Lane.

Emergency crews from the Bedford Police and Fire Departments rushed to the scene following urgent calls reporting the incident. Initial emergency radio broadcasts indicated that first responders immediately prepared to administer CPR after successfully extricating the victim from beneath the heavy machinery.

While authorities have not yet officially confirmed whether the victim was transported to an area hospital, radio dispatch traffic described the worker's injuries as severe and life-threatening.
