BEDFORD, N.H. – A Nashua man was arrested after driving the wrong way on Interstate 293 and the F.E. Everett Turnpike.
At 3:42 a.m., Sunday, August 2, 2026, State Troopers assigned to the Troop B barracks received a report of a vehicle traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of I-293, near Exit 5, in Manchester.
Within two minutes of the initial call, Sgt. Brendan Tallon found the vehicle, a white Nissan Altima, driving head-on toward him, southbound, on the northbound side of the F.E. Everett Turnpike. As the Altima approached, Sgt. Tallon used his patrol vehicle, with its emergency lights activated, to block the lane to protect other innocent motorists.
