Hello!
The approach of fall has us in a good mood here at Downtown Nashua Association. How about you? It’s not just because of the pretty foliage and mild temps, but also because fall kicks off our busiest event season. There’s lots to do, but bringing the best possible community events to Downtown Nashua is, you know, our whole thing and we love it.
Coloring Main Street: This event was brand new last year and was such a hit we had to bring it back. People of all ages seemed to really love the opportunity to socialize and let their creativity fly—especially kids.
Main Street Monster Mash: This was another brand new event last year and it was loads of fun. Children were invited to trick-or-treat on Main Street and visit participating businesses that were distributing candy. We’re happy to announce that we are once again partnering with the Humane Society for Greater Nashua for the Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade.
Main Street Unwrapped: Walk Main Street with Santa as he removes the wrapping from store fronts to reveal their holiday displays!
Plaid Friday: Take the opportunity to shop small, local businesses instead of the big box or online stores. Participating businesses will be offering special deals and you’ll receive a Plaid Friday canvas tote bag to aid in your shopping adventure.
Winter Stroll: Do we need to explain this one? The Winter Stroll has been a Nashua tradition and staple for over thirty years. We’re bringing back the skating rink, Santa, the whole nine yards. Don’t miss it!
Finally, this seems like a good time to ask that, if you enjoy the events and programs we organize all year long, we hope you will consider making a donation in support of the work we do. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we rely on donations, sponsorships, and grants to continue to keep these traditions going year after year.
