Memorial Day weekend has finally arrived, and with it comes the biggest waterfront celebration of the season! The giant Renaissance on the Riverwalk festival is taking over the riverbanks all weekend long, serving as the backdrop for a spectacular lineup of community events, fresh local food, and live entertainment.

The Main Events: Renaissance Weekend

Our beautiful waterfront is the place to be this weekend, starting Friday at 5:00 PM and running straight through Monday.

The crown jewel of Saturday is the highly anticipated Rubber Duck Regatta at 3:00 PM! Watch a "yellow tide" of 5,000 rubber ducks launch from the footbridge and race down the river to support local community revitalization. Want a chance at the $1,500 grand cash prize? Grab your single ducks, a "six-quack," or a full flock ahead of time at duckrace.com/DowntownNashua.

The excitement keeps rolling on Sunday at 10:00 AM with the grand opening and Season Kick-off of the Nashua Farmers Market! Come explore the market's fantastic new location right on the Riverwalk to stock up on fresh produce, locally baked treats, and handmade goods from your favorite regional vendors.

A Feast for your Ears

If you love live entertainment, this week’s lineup is spectacular. The Nashua Center for the Arts hosts a stunning tribute to Tony Bennett by John Pizzarelli on Saturday night, followed by the fiery blues-rock of Samantha Fish on Sunday. For a more intimate, pub-style vibe, catch Jamie Hughes or Matt Jackson strumming acoustic sets over at Union Public House, or rock out with Code Switch late Saturday night at The Peddler’s Daughter.

Unwind & Create

Need to escape the holiday crowds for a bit of solo creativity? Drop into the ArtHub on Friday afternoon for a Free Painting Class, or sign up for Sewing with Sonia on Saturday morning. On Wednesday evening, check out the uniquely titled Plantitas and Politicas gathering at Fortin Gage flowers and gifts.

The Late-Night & Mid-Week Crowd

If you missed the weekend fun, the energy doesn't stop on Tuesday. Head down to Stella Blu for Tacos & Tequila before testing your luck with Music Bingo at Fody’s Tavern. On Wednesday, wind down your week with a classic cinematic experience at The Spot for a free screening of The Untouchables.

Between the racing ducks, fresh farm produce, and riverside festival vibes, our community has outdone itself this week.

 See you by the river!
