Hello!
As usual, I’m here to tell you about the hippest happenings Downtown for the weekend and beyond. BUT! I would be remiss not to emphasize how huge, colorful, and fun Nashua PRIDE is going to be on Saturday.
The parade begins at 1:30pm at the Soldiers & Sailors Monument and will make its way to Holman Stadium where the Festival kicks off, full force, at 2pm. Right off the bat, we’ve got Rhythm and Roots dance company performing until 3pm, when DJ Lanena takes over the stage with some bumpin’ music and she returns at 5pm. At 4pm & 6pm, ridiculously fabulous drag queens will perform in decadent dress, bringing high-kicking energy to the festivities.
The Festival concludes at 7pm but the fun does not stop. At 7:30pm, you simply must make your way over to the Pavilion Stage (Downtown on the new Riverwalk) for a free, knock-your-socks-off concert by Vices Inc. THEN at 8:30pm, you’re taking a short walk to Martha’s Exchange for the 21+ After-party where you will be dazzled by yet more glitzy drag queens.
It’s going to be a full-day PRIDE EXTRAVAGANZA so don’t you dare miss it. Admission to the Nashua PRIDE Festival is free, but you do need to register.
