Nashua's Alicia and Matty Gregg Finish 7th in America's Favorite Couple, Raise $25,000 for Charity

"We are so grateful to everyone who voted, shared our story, and cheered us on every single day. Seeing Nashua rally behind us, and knowing that support turned into about $25,000 for families facing hunger and for protecting our oceans, means more to us than any prize could,"

NASHUA, N.H. - Alicia and Matty Gregg, hosts of The Gregg Show and Nashua residents, finished in seventh place out of 14 national finalists in America's Favorite Couple, raising approximately $25,000 for the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana through their campaign.

The competition, which has raised more than $2.5 million for the two charities overall, invited the public to vote for couples with real connection and meaningful stories. Texas couple Wendy and Bruce Chandler were named the 2026 America's Favorite Couple.

The Greggs' campaign drew support from neighbors, friends, colleagues, and listeners across Greater Nashua, many of whom voted daily throughout the final round and shared the couple's story online.

"We are so grateful to everyone who voted, shared our story, and cheered us on every single day. Seeing Nashua rally behind us, and knowing that support turned into about $25,000 for families facing hunger and for protecting our oceans, means more to us than any prize could," said Alicia and Matty Gregg. "Congratulations to Wendy and Bruce, and thank you to every one of our fellow finalists for sharing your love stories alongside ours."

Their story, which began with a Facebook message during Matty's run across America for firefighter cancer awareness, resonated with voters throughout the competition. The two started talking when he reached Albuquerque, and on mile 3,486 of his run, the route happened to pass her house, where they danced on her doorstep to "I Fooled Around and Fell in Love." They married during the COVID-19 pandemic in the house Matty's parents built, and today they share a deep commitment to serving their community and giving back. That commitment shaped their entire campaign, as the couple pledged from the start that any prize money would go to a local organization serving Greater Nashua.

Alicia Gregg serves as Alderman-at-Large for the City of Nashua and as State Representative for Ward 7 in the New Hampshire House of Representatives. Matty Gregg serves as a commissioner on Nashua's Board of Public Works.

America's Favorite Couple is operated by Colossal, a nationally registered professional fundraiser, on behalf of Action Initiative, a registered public charity that grants competition proceeds to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana.
