Beth and Brad Kreick best exemplify the qualities that the family of the late Nashua Lion Dr. Robert Moheban were looking to recognize through their long-standing involvement in education, youth development and community well-being.
The award named in memory of the well-known board certified vascular/thoracic surgeon who practiced in Nashua for 35 years and passed away on October 16, 2023. In addition to his medical practice. Dr. Mo as he was affectionately known, was a Life Member of the Nashua Lions, serving for over 50 years.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Dr. Mo was a real estate developer and was admired by all for his community service and numerous philanthropic contributions. Among them, he was a co-founder of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Nashua and long-time board member where he established the Moheban Family Scholarship Fund.
In announcing the selection of the Kreick’s, Lions program chair Ed Lecius said the Beth and Brad are all about what we had intended when this recognition was established, “You look at what they have done for the greater Nashua community in the field of education, youth and community well-being, and it was an easy choice.”
Beth Kreick spent over 20 years as an English teacher in the Nashua public school system before moving on to serving the community as a whole. For the past 17 years she has guided the Nashua Education Foundation, which helps teachers turn ideas into reality. In addition, Beth serves on the boards of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Nashua and several other youth-based nonprofits.
Brad is Chief Executive Officer of AccessHope, a national cancer-care management organization and chair of the Rivier University Board of Trustees. He’s served as a coach and mentored young athletes at all levels from elementary to high school in both public and private schools, winning several state titles while coaching the BG girl’s basketball team.
Together, Beth and Brad co-founded YouthWell New Hampshire, a statewide initiative that builds resources, programming and peer-to-peer networks to combat the growing mental health needs of New Hampshire youth.
