NEW BOSTON, NH - A dump truck traveling on River Road in New Boston left the roadway, struck trees and rolled over into the river.
The driver was entrapped in the vehicle, and New Boston Fire Department worked to extricate him, and gave him medical treatment at the scene in preparation of being transported to a local hospital.
The road was shut down for hours between Greg Mill Road and Howe Bridge so that Duval’s Towing and recovery could work to remove the vehicle.NH Department of Environmental Services came to the scene due to the truck being in the water.
NHSP Troop G is investigating the accident with the assistance of New Boston Police.
Hillsborough County Sherif’s Office assisted at the scene and with closing the road.
The driver appears to have non-life-threatening injuries.
