BEDFORD, N.H. – One person was hurt and two lanes of the F.E. Everett Turnpike were closed after a crash at the Bedford Toll Plaza.

At 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2026, State Troopers assigned to the Troop B barracks responded to a report of a crash near mile marker 17 on the F.E. Everett Turnpike in Bedford.

The preliminary investigation determined that a 2009 Honda Accord, driven by Tyler Abrams, 26, of Derry, was traveling southbound through the Bedford Toll Plaza when it veered into the opposing northbound lanes and collided with a guardrail. The vehicle then traveled back across the highway, struck the center median barrier and became disabled.

Abrams was transported to an area hospital for minor injuries.

The crash blocked the two left lanes before the Toll Plaza for approximately an hour and a half while the crash was investigated.

Additional Troopers from the Special Enforcement Unit, as well as members of the Bedford Fire Department and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation, provided assistance.

Anyone with information that may assist the ongoing investigation is asked to contact Trooper Evan Puopolo at Evan.R.Puopolo@dos.nh.gov.
