Nashua, N.H. — On Saturday, September 26, Main Street Nashua will once again become one big chalk canvas for the community’s children—and the young at heart, of course. The sidewalks, from the Main Street Bridge to the Nashua Public Library to City Hall, will be prepped with artwork drawn in black chalk, waiting for little artists to bring them to life with color!
“We were delighted that this event was so well-received last year. People really seemed to enjoy it and we’re excited to be bringing it back,” said Elaina Bedio, Downtown Nashua Association (DNA) director of operations and engagement. “It’s a chance to gather and have some simple, creative, family-friendly fun together as a community. And it’s free!”
Join the fun from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm by coloring in your favorite designs while exploring Downtown. Chalk will be provided by local Main Street businesses and DNA, so all you need to bring is your creativity and enthusiasm. However, it is recommended that participants wear clothing they don’t mind getting chalky and be sure to use the hashtag #ColoringMainStNashua when posting photos of their work on social media.
