NASHUA, NH - The Front Door Agency is proud to present Just Another Day, a heartfelt and humorous theatrical production starring acclaimed actors Dan Lauria and Patty McCormack, for two special performances on May 30 and 31 at Souhegan High School.
Presented as a benefit performance for the Front Door Agency, 100% of proceeds from ticket sales will directly support the agency’s mission to prevent and end homelessness in Greater Nashua.
Written by Emmy-winning playwright Rich Orloff, Just Another Day tells the story of a comedy writer and a sophisticated poet in their seventies who meet daily on a park bench to exchange wit, memories, and moments of connection, all while trying to piece together how they know, and love, each other.
Equal parts comedy, nostalgia, and love story, the globally touring production offers audiences an intimate and emotional evening of theatre led by two legendary performers. Dan Lauria, best known for his role as Jack Arnold on the Emmy-winning television series The Wonder Years, has long maintained a connection to the Front Door Agency through his friendship with the organization’s founder, Odie Odierna. His passion for the agency’s mission inspired him to bring Just Another Day to Greater Nashua as a fundraiser benefiting local families and individuals experiencing housing instability.
“Dan has never forgotten the importance of community or using his talents to give back” said Odie Odierna, founder of the Front Door Agency. “Dan and Patty are helping turn art into impact, and that generosity means everything to us.”
Patty McCormack, known for her acclaimed career in theater, television, and film, rose to fame as a child star in The Bad Seed, earning an Academy Award nomination for her unforgettable performance. Together, Lauria and McCormack bring decades of talent and chemistry to the stage in this moving production.
Funds raised through the performances will support the Front Door Agency’s housing and supportive service programs, including homelessness prevention, transformational housing for single mothers and children, youth homelessness initiatives, affordable housing, and financial empowerment services.
“This production is more than just a night at the theater,” said Maryse Wirbal, CEO of the Front Door Agency. “Every ticket purchased helps support real people in our community who are working toward stability, independence, and hope.”
Performances will take place at Souhegan High School on Saturday, May 30 at 7:30 PM and Sunday, May 31 at 2:00 PM. Tickets are available now at: https://frontdooragency.ejoinme.org/justanotherday
