NASHUA, N.H. — The United Way of Greater Nashua held a reception Friday for the recipients of their 2026 Community Impact Grants. The UWGN distributed $80,00 to 13 local nonprofit agencies.

The awards were presented to Greater Nashua Mental Health, Nashua Police Athletic League, St. Josephs Hospital, Marguerites Place, Operation Delta Dog, Nashua Community Music School, Traveling Tooth Faries, Family Promise of Southern N.H., Adult Learning Center, Regenerative Roots Association,  Meals on Wheels of Hillsborough County, Wee Read United-Storytime, and Girls, Inc. of New Hampshire.

The programs and projects serve greater Nashua residents, and they must align with UWGN’s Needs Assessment and support priority topics

Ladder 3 was the first truck on scene, in the rear, with light smoke showing from the roof vents and soffits of a 3-story garden style apartment building. Command was established by Ladder 3. Engine 3 stretched a 1 ¾” hose line to the front door of the building awaiting the location of the fire.
