General Incident Description:
At approximately 2:15 pm on September 21, 2026, the Nashua Fire Rescue dispatch center received a call reporting smoke coming from a residence on Barnsdale Road. EMS 1 was the first to arrive on scene and found a single-story residence with smoke showing and established command. C4 arrived and assumed command.
Ladder 3 was the first truck on scene, and initiated search after forcing entry. Engine 4 arrived and stretched an attack line into the building through the front door. L2 members, in the rear of the building, located a fire in the walkout basement. A line was stretched to the rear, and in coordination with the interior line, the fire was extinguished. Victim searches were conducted and an all clear was declared. Extensive damage was sustained throughout the residence.
No occupants were home at the time of the fire
The fire is currently under investigation by the Nashua Fire Marshal’s office.
